Dr. Qandeel is the medical director of Cardiothoracic Surgery at UM Health-Sparrow Lansing and a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University. He is board certified in Cardiothoracic and General Surgery. He was privileged with ten years of advanced surgical training and experience at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic. Dr. Qandeel is a highly skilled cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon in conventional, trans-catheter, and minimally invasive/robotic approaches for heart, lung, vascular, esophageal, mediastinal, and chest wall surgery. Dr. Qandeel is well-published and received numerous honors and awards throughout his medical training and surgical career. He has outstanding surgical outcomes with great patient satisfaction.
