With a location in Lansing, Mich., it operates one of the largest mailing houses in Michigan outside of Detroit. Presort Services utilizes 2-D barcodes that make use of the vertical dimension to increase data capacity. With another facility in Grand Rapids, Mich., it strives to ensure uninterrupted services during power outages, natural disasters and other business contingencies. The company was the first presort bureau in Michigan to be certified as a quality mailing partner under the U.S. Postal Service s mail preparation total quality management (MPTQM) program.
