We used Lowes several years ago for a roof installation and it was pretty much a nightmare. Lowes says your satisfaction is guaranteed. What they did not make clear to us was that the roofing installation is only guaranteed for one year. We paid over $10,000 for a large roofing job. Approximately three years later when we were having all types of leaking issues we found that the fine print of the contract only guaranteed the work for one year. I think their advertising is misleading. Since then we have done more research and found that most reputable installers will guarantee their work for at least 10 years. I would never use them again.

I just came from the S. Cedar Lowes in Lansing during my lunch hour to pick up some odds and ends. Each time I went looking for an item I had an associate ask if he/she could help me find what I was looking for and I was done very fast. From the person that greeted me at the door to the cashier everyone seemed happy to interact and help.
