Everett High School, established in 1959, offers education to more than 1,700 students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as consumer science, algebra, English, geography, American history, biology, computers, accounting, chemistry, creative writing, and special and physical education. It offers various sports activities to students, such as basketball, football, cheerleading, track, baseball and softball. The facilities offered by the school include a library, media center, gymnasium and playfields. It offers various extracurricular activities to students, including school band, fine arts, music concerts, quiz contests and field trips. The school s parent teacher association provides financial aid, and assistance in environmental programs and community service projects. Everett High School is located in Lansing, Mich.
