Provided by YP.comWhat a great experience for our family! I brought my two oldest children in, ages 8 and 5, for vision exams. The staff was super sweet to them and did a great job putting them at ease during their visit. While in exam, I was very happy to see that Dr. Popowitz has had a lot of experience working with children. He made them feel very comfortable, used videos and other testing aids made just for kids, and even double checked to make sure that my daughter (who wanted glasses but didn't need them) was really telling the truth about how well she was seeing. My kids tend to get nervous about going to the doctor but this visit was just fantastic! We'll be back again!

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely horrible experience!!
I made an appointment for my daughter before my husband changed jobs, and our insurance changed. We decided on contacts and new lenses for her glasses. It was advised by the technician to use the insurance to cover the contacts, rather than the lenses, as the benefit was better. I made payment that day, and THOUGHT I had paid for everything. That day we also scheduled her "contact lens fitting class" for the following Saturday.
During that week I received an appointment confirmation via email, and automated phone call. Then, the day before the appointment, I get a call from an actual person at Deltavision saying that they would be understaffed that day, and that we needed to change the class. We rescheduled for the following Saturday. Same thing happened this time. Only, I was informed that they don't do this class on Saturdays, so I would have to pull her out of school in order to get her in anytime soon. Also, during this time, I never got a call saying that the lenses for her glasses were in. I had to ask about them. After this appointment, we had to make yet another appointment for her to be seen by the doctor to check the contacts in her eyes (she couldn't get them in her eyes on he spot in the half hour we were there). This was another week out. It was then that I realized that she never received any contacts, other than the sample pair.
When I called to see if they had them in, I was told they were never ordered. On that initial day we were in, I apparently was only billed for the exam, the lenses for the glasses (which I was paying full price for because the contacts were being billed to the insurance), and the contact lens fitting. Now we are in limbo with vision insurance, waiting for the new insurance to kick in, and we never received her contacts.
I wish their staff would've explained this to me when we were there the first time. Nobody seemed to know what the proper procedures where. It was highly annoying to receive so many appointment confirmations, only to be later cancelled on.
I will not go back, and would not refer anyone to this business.

Provided by YP.comI have gone here a few times now after switching doctors. The doctors here are very knowledgeable and friendly. The staff is great, they take the time to talk to you and make sure you are comfortable; making you feel like family. The opticians make sure you know what your prescription is and what you or your insurance is paying for. I left there very satisfied and I don't imagine going anywhere else!

Provided by YP.comI came for my appoint and had drops put in my eyes and told to wait for 15 minutes. I waited the amount of time. When it was my turn the doctor saw 2 other patients before me he as about to see the 3rd when I said something about me waiting for 45 minutes and I had another place to be in 30 minutes. He had forgotten about me. I got out late missed the appointment. I did get glasses and was told it would take 7 to 10 day after 2 weeks I called was told they were not ready and would be soon. I was asked if I wanted pick them up at theve Lansing store or the Okeoms store. I told Mary Okemos as I don't have a car and I live in Mason. Got a call today was told that they were ready for pick up in Lansing, not Okemos. I called the Okemos store and told them how upset I was now It will be an additional week before they can get them in the Okeamos store so thats almost a month. Would not go back there again.

Provided by YP.comI had a procedure done that was supposed to cost me $100 do to an error of their office staff it ended up costing me $400. They gave me several reasons as to why the error occured one being they are short staffed. I had the procedure in March & did not find out about the issue until Sept. In their situation the business is right not the customer. They threatened to send me to a collection agency so I paid the bill to avoid the headache I would just avoid them & take your business some place else.
