Founded in 1942, Dock Woods Community is a nonprofit health care organization. It operates from two locations in Pennsylvania, including Hatfield and Lansdale. Dock Woods Community offers a wide range of retirement housing and health, including residential and assisted living services. It also offers memory support apartments for people suffering from Alzheimer s disease and memory impairments. Its health center services include nursing care and rehabilitation services, and support services, such as ambulance assistance, transportation and escort, respite care and companionship services. The system also provides home care services, which includes personal care assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation and medication assistance and reminders. Dock Woods Community also offers intergenerational programs, including children centers and the adopt-a-grandparent program.
