ACTS Retirement-Life Communities is one of the largest, nonprofit developers of continuing care retirement communities in the United States. Founded in 1972, the organization operates more than 15 communities in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. With a staff of over 5,000 employees, it serves nearly 8,000 individuals. The organization s communities are approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. It operates Park Pointe Village, which features a studio and one- and two-bedroom apartment homes. The organization also manages Lanier Village Estates, which includes an indoor pool and fitness center and conducts day-trips. ACTS Retirement-Life Communities manages St. Andrews Estates North, which is spread across an area of approximately 60 acres.
