Just to set the stage for my review: I'm a fairly capable mechanic myself. I've rebuilt engines before and know what it takes to do the job right. But once in a while I just dont have the time or equipment to do a repair, but I do know exactly what is needed and what it will take, so I'm rarely ripped off. A few years ago, my son blew out the engine on his 1966 "daily driver" classic 1966 Mustang. It would have taken me a month of "weekend work" to get the car back on the road. We needed the car back on the road FAST. So we took it to Paul to rebuild the engine. He did it in only 4 days and when he was done, the car ran fantastic. I called around and could not find another engine rebuilder who was even remotely close to his price. I'm not even sure that I could have rebuilt it myself for much cheaper. Since then I have taken other cars to him and have always left with a great repair at a very affordable price. Paul is a boon to the community
