Lake Myrtle Elementary School is located in Land O' Lakes, Fla. The school provides general academic education programs to more than 850 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It provides special education services to gifted and talented students. Lake Myrtle Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities and special programs, including fairs, festivals and family nights. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, dance, music and physical education. It organizes field trips to various educational and cultural destinations. In addition, the school offers accelerated reader and English for Speakers of Other Languages programs. Lake Myrtle Elementary School is a part of Pasco County Schools, which is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
