Started in 1937, Calvary Church is a Christian faith-based ministry that conducts activities, such as summer evangelistic meetings, weekly Bible studies, Bible and missionary conferences, and prayers and children's meetings. The church offers adult Bible fellowships, worship services and children's Sunday school classes. It operates a children s church, Chinese church, Chinese children s Sunday school and student ministries. Calvary Church conducts the Study & Share Bible Study program in its fellowship hall for men and women. The church has a choir room and sanctuary that offers family meals and music rehearsals. It also operates daily children s discovery clubs and support groups. Its global ministries provide religious services to cater to disciples across the world. The church offers pastoral counseling to discuss concerns and recommend support groups, counselors and books. Its DivorceCare is a 13-week support group to provide a biblical perspective on marriage and divorce. It additionally offers adoption, foster care and orphan care ministries to provide family support and education to orphans. Calvary Church is located in Lancaster, Pa.
