Upon our initial meeting, the director took every incoming phone call while we waited. He made multiple mistakes on the obituary. We made corrections and he changed them back. He also made a mistake on the death certificate. He neglected to post the date of the memorial on the funeral home's website. We will never know how many people did not attend because they didn't know what date it was held. The worst offense, in my opinion. He put the WRONG date of death on the urn. Who does that? We certainly will not use Van Horn-mcDonough Funeral Home ever again!!!!!!
