Lamar Middle School serves students in grades five through eight. It offers various courses in English, reading, math, science, social studies, fine arts, and health and physical education. It also provides several extracurricular activities, such as art fairs and music and dance shows. The school s sports activities include football, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. In addition, Lamar Middle School features a library, cafeteria, playground, gymnasium and science laboratory. Located in Lamar, Ark., the school is a part of the Lamar School District, which offers a range of educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district also provides support services to homeless children.
