I am rating this school a 1 star and it is actually below that. I had a horrible experience at this school not only with the instructional staff but the financial aid office lied to me about my financial aid package. I spent 350 hours there and they had me working on clients in one month. Look at any other private school in Sarasota and I am sure that you will learn a lot more than Meridian. The education is a joke!!!!

I actually attend this school, and I'll tell you I feel like it's a joke. waiting for supplies for over a month. I actually made the comment to the instructor that I feel like I haven't learned anything at all, and don't get it twisted I passed every class with High grades, one B and the rest As. A lot of the people that go there feel the same way. I would just have to say, check around and be sure you really want to go somewhere, don't let them rush you, and maybe if allowed sit in on a class before you pick a certain school. I wish I would have. I do like the instructors a lot they are good people. But wished I would have stayed at my old school, I feel like I learned more with them in ten days then I did with meridian in 10 months.

Felt uncomfortable in the interview process of the school, felt a little rushed. Made me feel I wasn't qualified enough for the program and kept explaining how hard of a program it is. The administrative person was trying to persuade me into another program which would be easier for me. The cost of this school is what a 4 yr institution would be with dorm fees and food expenses. They wanted me to test and get set up for classes right away without thinking it over. Be careful it's to expensive you will never be able to pay your loans off it will take yrs.

Was a client at this school and will not return. They fried my hair and I was surprised that there was a lot of supervision by an instructor. I am now having to reconstruct my hair in a salon with condition treatments. Very poor!

Just graduated from this program in Cosmetology. What a waste of time.For all the money I paid I do not feel that I got what I paid for. The biggest concern I have now is that if I am ready for the industry. Their school clinic is very slow and did not have many real customers to practice on. Also it had to much staff turn over. Would not suggest this program. Best to check other programs to see what is out there!!

Did not have a positive feeling when I went to visit. It seemed that all they wanted me do do was enroll right away. Hardly gave me the time of day. I going somewhere else (private school). Very impressed and would reccommend it.
