The hospital has skilled surgeons on staff whose specialties range from cardiac, gynecological, spine and joint surgeries to reconstructive procedures. Lakewood Ranch Medical Center provides the community with a 24/7 Emergency Department (ER) that is fully prepared to treat patients of all ages for a wide array of illnesses and injuries. Physicians and staff at the ER, are highly experienced in managing health emergencies, and are dedicated to providing the highest quality of emergency care. The hospital also offers Cardiovascular Services ranging from the treatment of acute cardiovascular issues to providing education programs to the community, and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The hospital’s Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center provides a fast, Stroke Alert Team to evaluate and treat all stroke emergencies. The Women and Children’s Center at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center provides comprehensive medical services for women, whether it’s gynecology and urology; advanced obstetrics or labor and delivery. Tomosyntesis or 3-D mammography is offered in the Breast Health Center, just one of many Diagnostic Imaging and Radioloy Services provided at hospital; other services include, MRI, Ultrasound, CT Scan, Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy. The Orthopaedic Spine and Joint Center at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center hosts fellowship-trained surgeons and orthopedic physicians who work alongside specially trained orthopedic nurses and physical therapists to provide patients with collaborative orthopedic care.
