The system treats over 1 million outpatients every year and offers delivery services to nearly 17,000 babies annually. Saint Barnabas Health Care System employs approximately 20,000 employees, including more than 4,500 physicians. It maintains a burn treatment facility, cardiac surgery unit, and stroke, chest pain, and heart and kidney transplant centers. The system provides robotic surgery, neurological, geriatric, child care, women s health and cancer diagnosis and treatment services. Additionally, Saint Barnabas Health Care System operates over five assisted living residences and nursing and rehabilitation centers. Headquartered in West Orange, N.J., it maintains a location in Lakewood, N.J.
