Carmody Middle School offers several academic and extracurricular activities to students in grades seven and eight. Located in Lakewood, Colo., the school provides classes in language arts, social studies, science and math. It also has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising events. In addition, Carmody Middle School organizes science fairs and art competitions. Its sports activities include basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, and track and field. The school additionally operates chess, drama and fitness clubs. It has a library that includes a range of books and instructional materials. Carmody Middle School is a part of Jeffco Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
