Sutton, is the mother of 3 beautiful daughters and has been a licensed in home child care provider for 8 years in Lakewood. She loves working with children and offering the absolute best to her families. Our daycare center focuses on creating an enriching environment that fosters exploration and discovery, building self esteem and confidence. We foster relationships and teach positive communication for social and emotional growth. These are the building blocks for early childhood development. Our preschool programs continue building self esteem, confidence and positive relationships while adding the skills necessary to be successful in Kindergarten and beyond. Let me first say I'm being generous giving one star. Shannon and Shirley are both the biggest liars I have ever met in my life. They look at your children and see dollar signs that's all they care about. The toys in all the classrooms are so outdated or broken. Nothing works at this center. Most of the toys in the toddler rooms and preschool classrooms are out of a happy meal. Shannon herself has child abuse reported against her. She knows nothing about Childcare rules and regulations. She writes bad checks constantly to her staff and then wonders why she's had 17 employees in one year. No staff stay working for her because she can't pay them.
Shirley is the cook and knows nothing about food preparation or what's expectable nutrition for your children. Breakfast will consist of half of a waffle and a few pieces of canned fruit. These women would rather feed their horses then your children.
Please for your children's sake do not enroll in this center! Shannon will come off so sweat and concerned in front of your face but then is a whole different person once the parents leave the building.
Please check her licensing violations before you think twice about enrolling into this center!!!!! More then 10 inspections for violations and complaints within 2 years!!
Something's not right about this place!!!!!
My children have been attending for about a month now. Shannon is very connected with the children and interested in providing high quality care. The rooms are large, bright, and full of age appropriate activities. Large outdoor area with big grassy area and different play areas for older and younger kids. The Infant Supervisor is caring, nurturing and wonderful with the babies. My children are very happy and excited to attend every day.
I have been calling the Childcare Center for over 2 weeks leaving several messages and no one has called me back. I feel that working in this industry you should return all calls within 24-48 hours. If you continue with this pattern you will not have as many people wanting your services.
As I explained the last time we spoke you do not have the credentials to hold this position. Continuously calling will not change this. You can not prove your credentials and that is why I have not called you back again. The Lead position in each room must hold the required education, certification and experience.
