Lakeview Elementary School provides educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade five and is located in Lakeville, Minn. Its academic curriculum includes physical education, reading, media and technology, special education, science, English, math, health and social studies. The school provides guidance, media center and food services. Its media center contains a collection of more than 20,000 titles, including many fiction books, nonfiction books, reference materials, DVDs, CD-ROMs, guided reading and audio books. Its physical education program assists children by planned movement studies, physical activities and exercise. It provides basic skills assistance and targeted services programs and a comprehensive special education program. It includes special needs students in regular classroom so all students learn to work together.
