I moved my stuff into a storage unit in February. In March, the door somehow broke. It came off the track and was extremely difficult to open and shut. I talked with the manager and she put a work order in to have it fixed. The people who fix the doors didn't even come out until JUNE! After they came out and said the door was fixed, i was checking in on my stuff, and the door broke again. It was off the track and part of the door was pushed inside the unit, so it was not secure and clear of the weather elements. I told the manager and she said she would put in ANOTHER work order for the door. The door stayed partially open for over a month and my couch and coffee table have mold on it. Not once did the manager offer to put me into a different unit so my stuff would be secure! It has been an absolute pain to work with them! Find some other place to store your stuff...do not go here!

I rented from Gopher 4months ago pending moving into our new home. When moving day finally came we went to retrieve our belongings to find an apparent breach in the ceiling where water had come in and ruined a large amount of our stuff. It appears that the damage has been going on for some time as mold was growing on damaged items. It is now day 6 without even the courtesy of a retuned call from the owner. I spoke with him personally to rent and now not even a whisper...His name is Shelden Badzin (Mayflower Properties) and owns several other properties and a moving company under other names in the Twin Cities. Be Careful!

These guys have great rates - and I called around the Twin Cities forever. Also, they will work with you and don't try and screw you if you need a little extra time to rent. Very fair - good business.
