We went to the lakeside Boll Weevil tonight and ordered 2 steak sanwiches, 1 cheese burger, a side salad, cheese triangles and sweet potato fries. 1 1/2 hours later, we received the cheese triangles and was told that the rest of the food would be ready in 5 minutes. We had to ask for the cheese triangles from another server instead of the person that took our order because she was busy visiting. We had to ask for the salad...again another server because our server appeared to be too busy visiting. 20 minutes later, our server came over and asked if everything was ok. We asked when our food would be served. She said she would check on it and instead of going to the kitchen, she walked over to the other side of the restaurant. When our food was finally served, the medium rare "prime rib" steak sandwich was actually a well done sirloin steak. The sandwich was served open faced with no mayonnaise on the bread which was listed on the menu. The sweet potato fries were good, however they were requested in place of the french fries. We were charged for the sweet potato fries, as well as for the side salad. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:00pm and at 9:45pm, we were still waiting for our food. Our server apologized for the quality of the food and said she had told the kitchen that the "prime rib" sandwiches were supposed to be medium rare, however the ticket she wrote showed medium. Had we been there during a regular night, we would have complained more. We attended tonight during a fundraiser. We will not return to this restaurant.
