Zareen Vaghaiwalla, MD, is a Rheumatologist who cares for patients with conditions such as arthritis, connective tissue diseases and musculoskeletal disease. She works with her patients to develop treatment plans to help them achieve their goals. What is your patient care philosophy?I believe that fostering trust within the patient-physician relationship is key to be able to effectively manage and treat our patients. Each patient is unique, and I will work together with my patients to develop treatment plans that help achieve their goal function level. What would you like people to know about you as a physician?I am compassionate, empathetic, and have a drive for excellence. I look forward to serving the community as your rheumatologist. When did you know you wanted to be a doctor?I knew I wanted to be a doctor after volunteering at the local hospital in high school. My passion for medicine started there and continues to this day. What are some interesting facts about you?I love traveling, baking, and spending time with my family. What else would you like to share with our readers?I am a native Floridian and am grateful to serve the community I grew up in.
