I HAVE OWNED SEVERAL SALT WATER TANKS AND KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT THEM. MIKE TAPLEY IS THE BEST AUTHORITY ON THE CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF A SALT WATER TANK IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. HE CARES ABOUT HIS ANIMALS AND HIS CUSTOMERS.

Was just in the store today. I was pleased to see the store is being cleaned up, looking a lot better and smells better too. The bird area has also gotten the attention it needed. As far as the puppies, I think they could do without. The SPCA is near by with many unwanted good pets that are In need of homes. They once used to be puppies too.

Been a customer for over twenty years. Have bought supplies for snakes, lizards, birds, dogs and cats. They have always been knowledgeable and friendly.

I am a veterinary student and as such I have exotic animals. Well this morning one of my gliders passed unexpectedly so I needed gliderade for her mate to calm it down. Being that I had just run out I called every pet store in my area and this was the only store that even knew what I needed! I got there and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. All animals are properly housed and taken care of. All of the animals were in great health and very friendly. The owner was a delight and very helpful, not to mention consoling with the loss of my glider. I would highly recommend this store to anyone and everyone, especially if you have an exotic and want high quality products for less money than you get online!

I went to Lynn's Fish & Pets for the 1st time today just to buy R/O water for my aquarium...anyway I dealt with Cindy, she was extremely nice, and helpful! I enjoyed talking with her. The store seemed orderly, and clean....so I know I'll go back again!!! :)

The staff at Lynn's Fish & Pets have been so helpful. We recently invested in a salt water aquarium. Mr. Mike and his team have been very patient with all of our questions. Trust me when I say, my wife has a tone of questions. We go in so much that they know us by name. Outstanding Service!

Great customer service. The staff is extremely helpful. We recently invested in a salt water aquarium. We researched every shop in the Hillsborough and Polk County areas. Lynn's Shop was our last stop and then we fell in love. They answer every question we have and are very patient with us. We look forward to visiting the store every week. They offered classes for us first time owners. We have done everything step by step versus other stores wanting us to buy everything on day one. Won't shop anywhere else for our pet needs.

I really liked this pet store , they were very friendly and very helpful. The guy in the fish department was very helpfull and very friendly not like the other stores in lakeland that are not and lots of times have to wait to even get someone to wait on you. I like Lynn's a lot..

I have been going to this shop for over a year and have talked at length with the people there. The puppies are all in good condition and see a Vet every 30 days, where they receive an updated health certificate and a set of puppy shots. The puppies come from private breeders and are either picked up by the owner or are delivered to the store by breeders. I bought a chihuahua there myself, and she is wonderful.

I have seen Mike, the owner, stand behind his animals if there is any legitimate issue, but that is rare. The store itself is cleaned constantly, with so many animals it is necessary. The people there try to be helpful, much more than in chain stores.

The store also offers BOTH freshwater and saltwater fish and equipment. Over a third of the store is dedicated to fish and they offer a great selection. I recommend if you haven't visited this store, that you do so and see for yourself the quality of this store. I personally have talked to other customers who love this store!

They have something for everyone (hand raised birds, reptiles, rodents, exotics, etc,)

This place is a rip-off! Please do not waste your money at this "wanna be" pet store. The nearest pet store is some distance away from our home so I thouht I would give Lynn's a try. I took 2 African Cichlids and a pelico that were getting a bit large for my tank to Lynn's and trade them for something smaller. The largest cichlid I took to trade was 5 inches long and David, the person I dealt gave me only $10 for all three! This itself was not the problem; both of small oscars I bought from him had early stages of ick on it but even I though treated my whole tank for it, one oscar died. When I tried to return the fish for another one, he denied and said he will have to test my tank water before I get store credit!!! I raised the cichilds that were traded at Lynn's for over 2 years and were now worth at least $45-$50 (and they were bought from WALMART!!!!). Please spend your money elsewhere.

They have a great variety of animals and supplies. Got a great deal on a large cage for my macaw Archie! I've been a happy customer for over 20 years.
