Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital has been serving the greater Lakeland Area since its inception in 1972. Founded by Tom Houghton, we have developed into the areas premier veterinary group over the years. To this day we remain grounded by the principles of compassionate care, personal service, and unsurpassed medical attention. Under the ownership of Dr. Robert Houghton, we now look forward to providing your family with the next generation of complete, veterinary medical care. Dr. Robert Houghton is a 1998 graduate of George Jenkins High School in Lakeland, Florida. He earned a bachelor of science degree in Zoology from Auburn University and a DVM from St. Georges University. After completing his clinical year at North Carolina State University, he received additional training as an intern at the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine teaching hospital.
