Provided by YP.comMy family and I went there for breakfast this weekend and we should have left when we first got there because of the rude young man that takes your name to sit you. The wait was long to sit us and then even longer to get our food. Out of the 6 people in our party 5 of us got sick. The food too greasy, it must of sat there for awhile before serving.
Very displeased with our visit and will not be going back.

Provided by YPmobilePlace was dirty and service was slow. We were there for 15 minutes and nobody waited on us so we walked out. This place was good a few years back.

Provided by YPmobileI just would like to let someone know that today was the worst experience my family and I had ever had eating out. There were 5 of us and it took over an hour to receive our food. I had a Groupon, and a checkout was told "it was a holiday" and could not use it! I could understand if there was some kind of special for presidents day, but the prices were the same! In my mind a "holiday" is NOT president day!! I have spoken to Groupon and complained to them. If you do not want to honor the Groupon you need to remove it from their site! A $47.00 ticket ended up costing me $67.00!!! We will never be back and I will never recommend your place of buisness.

Provided by YPmobileSo this is where the nickname grease pit came from Ok if you can make that good of a novelty item you could damn sure come up with a less greasy menu I ate there two weeks ago and just now began to feel like the grease is warring out of my body!!!!!! But hey, I could be wrong!

Provided by YP.comI can't give Ginger Brown's a 5-star review because of the SMOKE. If you're a smoker, you'll love it. However, 99% of people out there don't want to leave a restaurant coughing or smelling like cigarettes. It's gross. The food, however, is tasty. :)

Best food I've ever eaten. Love their catfish, chicken, breakfasts, cinnamon rolls. Gosh! I've never had anything there that I didn't like and thoroughly enjoy. We plan our trips to Ft. Worth with Ginger Brown's in our schedule. Sure glad they aren't in Austin - I'd have a "few extra rolls" on me.
Very smoky if have allergies don't go have side that is non smoking but no barrier or exhaust to draw out the smoke so the whole restaurant may as well be smoking not very appetizing for a non smoker. smoke so strong could not stay and eat.
great food and service. I go to gingers two or three times a week for lunch or dinner.
ginger is the best
