Assists entire families in need - not just women and children - so if Dad breaks his leg and can't work, they'll help the family by finding them a sponsor to assist with bills, etc. Also accepts donations of EVERYTHING people can use and GIVES them to the families - the donations don't go into a thrift store where they're sold for a fraction of their value with the profits going to the overhead. They directly benefit the families involved. They are also very caring and compassionate - a favorite place for my excess housewares and clothing.
