The second time we used this groomer, we arrived around 4:15 p.m. to pick up our dogs. The owner talked to us like we were children and said the shop closes at 4 p.m. and that she'd let it go this time, but would charge us next time if we arrived past 4 p.m. We decided to try one more time this last Saturday, 5/2/09. Both of our dog's haircuts were uneven and you could see the shear marks like an unevenly mowed lawn. One of our dogs had two nails cut so short that he bled on our carpet and smeared blood on the kitchen linoleum. They are overpriced at $ 120 for such poor service, poor haircuts and treatment of our pets, and for treating us like we owe them a favor rather than treating us as important clients. When we got home directly from the groomer, the dogs were so thirsty they gorged themselves at the water dish. We'll never go again.

Dog Day Afternoon is a very welcoming grooming shop. Our dogs love to visit for Daycare and also are groomed at this shop. The new owners keep the shop very clean and for our dogs to be able to socialize with other dogs it is a great change in their daily routine especially if it is raining out.

The old owners aren't there anymore, and the new ones are GREAT! I used to go to them before they owned Dog Day, and they've always done a wonderful job! I will definately continue coming here now that i know there are competent people working there! :)

Poor customer service, grooming getting worse, don't listen. Dogs wait with other dogs for pickup and stand in other dog's urine. When you pick up your dog, there is a possibility that he/she has urine on their feet and then on your clothes! Owners never there anymore to supervise staff and what's going on.

They are great with the animals. My dogs have an awesome time getting their "makeover" and playing with all the other dogs. I would definitely recommend them.

I take both of my yorkies to them, and they always do a great job, take the time to do their best with their grooming! You guys are the best!:)
