Lake Placid Central School Administration is part of Lake Placid Central School District. The school district offers education to students in grades five through 12. It offers advanced placement and college credit courses in math, English, history and Spanish. Its science courses include biology, physical science, chemistry, astronomy, geology and physics. The technological courses offered by the district schools are mass media, engineering, printing, and TV and radio broadcasting. It has a guidance department that assists students in the areas of academic advising, career planning, and social and emotional support. Additionally, it has various clubs and student organizations, including student government, and drama and ski club. The district s sports programs include soccer, tennis, golf, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, wrestling, cross country, softball and baseball. It is located in Lake Placid, N.Y.
