We had the misfortune of eating at Generations on Nov 4, 2010 at about 1:00 pm. When we walked in I should have suspected a problem ... there were no other customers! We were seated at a window seat which had a broken window that let in a blast of cold air. We moved, but could hardly talk since employees were constantly moving table in the adjacent area, construction workers were using drills and some of the owners were sitting nearby having a very loud conversation ... one of them boldly explaining how to lie to a prospective apartment tenant about why an apartment was unavailable. Then came the food. The soups were passable, but my wife had chewy, rubbery calamari that she could not eat. I had a tuna melt with avocado. There was no discernible avocado, the toast was cold, the tuna salad was cold yet still had some melted cheese on top. During our entire meal, we were the only customers, yet our waiter seemed to have no time to wait on us. In short, do not waste your time or money.
