      General Info
      The Adirondack Ski Touring Council was founded in 1986 for the purpose of improving and promoting cross country skiing in the Tri-Lakes Area. It is a non-profit organization whose primary task was to build and now maintain the Jackrabbit Trail. The ASTC also maintains several other "adopted" trails.
