Lucid is a reward-based dog training company that teaches an integrative and balanced approach to training pet dogs; focusing on creating harmony between people, dogs, other pets, and the environments they share. As a lifetime learning experience, Lucid uses the latest instructional design systems, motivational theories, and teaching and training methods. In the Lucid approach, people are empowered to continue teaching their dogs new behaviors and commands for years because proper socialization and relationship building are emphasized not just training. This is a hands-on, fully supported, resource-driven approach that combines face-to-face and online learning in a way that incorporates the entire family. To do this, we prioritize: - custom programs that equally consider the needs and desires of the involved dogs and people - careful and deliberate socialization with people, animals, and environments - owner education to empower people to not just train their dogs, but to keep their dogs trained - games and techniques that integrate training into everyday life - a balanced approach that strives for fairness, fun, efficiency, and effectiveness
