OUR lives are filled with relationships: Friendship. Significant other. Parent. Child. Intimate partner. ETC. Relationships are everywhere. When OUR relationships are stressed and struggle. SO DO other areas of life. It is NOT uncommon to experience feelings of Depression. Anger. Or stress and Also BE experiencing disconnection within a relationship. The "disconnection feeling" is threatening and scary; resulting in feeling alone. It is easy to withdraw. Turn attention inward. In an effort to hide the disconnection. Unfortunately. This only creates a larger feeling of disconnection in OUR most important relationships. This is a dangerous cycle that TOO many people frequently GET stuck in. Making the choice to seek counseling is NOT easy; in fact. It CAN BE is scary. I respect the courage it takes to SAY; "I can't figure this OUT on MY OWN. CAN YOU help?" I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to ACT AS an agent of healing for YOU and your RELATIONSHIPS. I offer counseling services to youth. Adults. Couples. And families from ALL walks of life. MY approach to counseling is tailored to the specific needs that YOU have. YOU are a unique individual with an equally unique story. MY approach to counseling is to provide YOU with a safe place to share your story. Through sharing. We are able to learn and grow AS individuals.
