Its sensors are primarily used to evaluate vehicle dynamics, steering, suspensions, brakes, tires and wheels, but are also used for a variety of applications in the aerospace, medical, nuclear and agricultural industries. In addition, the company s accredited laboratory provides ISO-17025 certified calibrations for any force and torque sensors. Founded in 1976, Sensor Development employs approximately 20 people at its 27,000-square-foot facility in Orion, Mich. SDI has appeared on the Michigan 100 list three times as one of the fastest growing companies in the state.
