Founded in 1942, Elisabet Ney Elementary serves students in prekindergarten through fourth grade. Located in Lake Jackson, Texas, the school also provides educational support services through both classroom and pull-out programs for students with special needs. It has a physical education room, library, cafeteria, computer laboratory, teacher workroom, more than 40 classrooms, music rooms and extra rooms for special programs. The school is a part of the Brazosport Independent School District, which provides educational resources for the communities of Clute, Freeport, Jones Creek, Lake Jackson, Oyster Creek, Quintana, Richwood and Surfside Beach in Texas. The school district includes more than 15 campuses that encompass over 10 elementary, two middle, three intermediate and two high schools, as well as an alternative placement center.
