      Dr. Bret Musser was born and raised near Kansas City, Missouri and earned his BS in Biology from the University of Missouri in 2009. He received his medical education and certificate in Health Administration from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2013 and completed his surgical residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital and Cook County Health Systems in Chicago. Dr. Musser was a 5 time Missouri All State and 2 time AAU All American cross country and track athlete. He was also an All-Conference, All-Regional, Academic All American collegiate runner. Dr. Musser specializes in comprehensive care of the foot and ankle with expertise in: Cartilage restoration Total ankle replacement Foot and ankle arthroscopy Sports injuries Fractures Tendon/ligament injuries Arthritis Flat feet Heel pain Pediatrics Bunions Hammertoes Wound care Diabetic reconstruction and limb salvage Primary podiatric care Workman’s comp Dr. Musser is on staff at Advocate Good Shepherd, Advocate Sherman, and Centegra Hospital System.
