Great location, bright, dockside dining. Unfortunately, in spite of the good food and service, the kitchen seem to be disorganized. Waited over an hour for a burger and wrap for lunch. My waitress was excellent and kept going into the kitchen to see what happened to our order. She was visibly embarrassed...not her fault, but wait staff is often penalized for kitchen mistakes.
We went to dinner at the Windlass on Saturday night. The service we received was the best on the lake! Phil, our waiter, was excellent! We haven't seen service like that in a long time. Phil was very attentive and gave great recommendations for dinner. We couldn't have asked for more. The food was wonderful! If you are looking for great food and great service, the windlass is where it's at!
