Brookside Elementary School provides education for students in grades one through five. The school offers art, music, chorus and orchestra classes. It includes a parent-teacher association that organizes several field trips and fundraising events. The association provides funds for purchasing playground equipment and sporting goods, such as footballs, colored balls and jump ropes. Brookside Elementary School also offers opportunities for students to participate in track and field competitions and tournaments. The school is a part of Susquehanna Valley Central Schools, which governs elementary, middle and high schools. The district s high school provides various sports activities that include football, volleyball, golf, soccer, tennis and swimming.
