General Info
Dr. Siddiq is a board-certified urologist with fellowship training in endourology, laparoscopy and robotic surgery. As a minimally invasive surgeon, he is committed to surgical options that minimize incisions, pain, and recovery times for his patients. He has a special interest in urologic cancers and kidney stone disease. Dr. Siddiq grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. After graduating summa cum laude from Providence College, he obtained his medical degree from Brown University, graduating among the top of his class. He completed a general surgery internship and then a urology residency at Brown University and Affiliated Hospitals. After his residency, Dr. Siddiq trained as a fellow in endourology, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery at the University of Miami. In 2004, Dr. Siddiq was recruited to join the Urology Center of SW Louisiana where he was a partner. Dr. Siddiq has been a leader in urologic surgery in Southwest Louisiana since then. In November, 2019, he joined the staff at Memorial Hospital and opened the doors to his new practice, Advanced Urology in Lake Charles & Sulphur, LA.
