Had a 5x7 area rug "cleaned". It was ready when they said it would be. The guys picking up and delivering were prompt and professional. When they brought the rug back it was in a plastic bag. It smells rancid and has some powder all over it that wasn't there before. WTF!

The Oriental rug that you cleaned and rebound for us was returned yesterday, and I want to let you know that we are nothing short of thrilled with the results. The rug is transformed and looks better than it has in all the years I’ve owned it. Although I believe the rug has any great monetary value, it belonged to my grandmother and then to my father, so it actually has great sentimental value to me. It appears now the way I remember it from a long time ago, when my sister and I were photographed on it as very small children. You did a beautiful job. After our large $31,000 Persian rug had major stain damage from a water leak in our house a couple of weeks ago, I checked on Yelp to give me some good advice in who to trust. It didn't take long before Oriental rug specialist's online reviews were high on the trust list and for good reason. The ole saying the "proof is in the pudding" is true and yes they did the impossible.....not only did they thoroughly clean our rug.....they literally removed all the stains! To top it off the owner was the one who actually came to our home to pick it up. He is a world of knowledge when it comes to rugs and what part of the world it came from.....very enlightening and great to talk to. BAnd best of all......VERY reasonable on cost. Saved us thousands. (My insurance company was sweating bullets, but liked the outcome)
Just had two area rugs cleaned by this company. They did an excellent job, picked up and delivered the rugs in a timely manner. Very polite. I even got some great information about the age and origin of one of the rugs that had been owned by my in-laws who are no longer alive to provide the info. I recommend them highly.
We have a large oriental rug in our waiting room at work. Everyone who comes and goes walks on it. The rug has been there for about 20 years. We all thought the rug needed to be thrown away. I spoke with Elden and he assured me that it could be brought back to life. The rug now looks better then we remember it. It will last many more decades. The timely manner that it took them to complete the job was appreciated. The cost was very reasonable. Everyone that worked there was very helpful. They even gave me a little insight about where the rug came from. Can't wait to get my rugs at home cleaned. I would recommend Oriental Rugs Specialist to all my family and friends.
These guys are by far the best...... professional, prompt and thorough! They have cleaned and restored 6-7 of my antique rugs, pick up and deliver, and have done a beautiful job. I highly recommend them for your very precious antique rugs or regular area rugs that need cleaning or refurbishing.
Very happy with the service I received from Naiema at Oriental Rug Specialist. He has been in the business a long time so he knows what he is doing. It is best to have your Oriental and Persian Rugs cleaned by someone who specializes in high end rugs so the proper cleaning methods are used. I had 5 expensive rugs cleaned and he did a fantastic job. He also gave me advice about caring for my rugs. He picked them up and delivered them. The cost was very reasonable. I will continue to take my rugs here for cleaning. I have also recommended him to my friends.
