Joan Broussard, nurse practitioner, provides operating room assistance, post-operative patient management, and clinic follow-up visits for adult surgical oncology and general surgery patients. She earned a bachelorâ??s degree in nursing from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Broussard later completed a masterâ??s degree in nursing at the University of South Alabama in Mobile and became a nationally certified nurse practitioner for acute care and adult health.
