These are the most unprofessional people ever. My husband an i ordered a bedroomset from them when delivered i guess they sent the weakest men there were scratches, 2 broken drawers, cracked mirror an missing drawer hardware which he said he would be back to bring an never showed. When i discovered all these flaws one broken drawer i opened they just threw broken parts in it an didn't mention a word to me about it that really pissed me off. When we reported this trash my husband had to talk cause i was so hot an wanted them to come get it out my house. My husband told of all the problems an how angry i was this lil girl told him to tell me be patient really tell your workers be patient when installing customers furniture. Its now been a month still no new parts not even a phone call with updates so unprofessional so if anyone is thinking about shopping here i advise you to think twice i feel like we wasted over 3000 dollars. I never had this problem at homefurniture. I would have put no star but had to.

I got lucky it seems, I was told I would get the new leather sofa that they had in the box in the back. well I did not. I know it was the floor model, but at least there were no problems with it. It was delivered on time. don't know if I would shop there again though.

Bought a mattress set from Brown's Furniture in Aug. of 2008. Started having problems with the set in Feb. of 2009 . As of late march problem not resolved. Will not buy another item from them. Custmer service is horrible. Calls never returned. while waiting for a replacement mattress one afternoon the warehouse manager called to say they did not have the replacement in stock. Delivery had been set up for a week. Today march 28th 2009 delivery of a replacement box spring. Wrong boxspring was loaded in the truck. So we still have a squeaky mattress set. I would suggest you not buy from this store. Sales people are quick to sell, but you will not have good customer service after the sale.

purchased a entire house full. their interior decorator and EVEN the owner showed up to help us with paint colors and the flooring. My house looks like a million bucks. we shopped all over and just my Ashley sofa was $200 less than the big O. i saved thousands! my advice save your money and time Only one place to shop and it's at Browns Furniture Showplace. we paid 14 thousand saved $ 3800 dollars less than the place down the street plus they did not charge me for the interior design and referred me to someone who made us the Most beautiful window treatments. also remember it's locally owned and operated so i prefer to do business locally. Browns also supports several local charities throughout the state

best place in town to buy furniture. the competion must be loosing business to be posting negative reviews. they have been in business for 60 years and my family and grandparents have purchased from the browns companies for years. the offer the best price and delivered our house full the next day. thanks browns
Dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare! We ordered a new sofa and what they delivered to us was the floor model, complete with holes, and marker stains. When we called to ask them why we got an old sofa they acted as if they had no idea what we were talking about and then tried to convince us that it was new. After they finally admitted it was a floor model, they promised to send us the new one when it came in. Well it has been more than six months now and after countless phone calls to the manager, we still have the floor model couch. After assuring us it would be in soon, he finally agreed to credit us a couple hundred dollars toward the sofa, but of course he never did. We got excuse after excuse. The last one we got was that the manager was at a funeral. So then the next day he of course was off somewhere else - how convenient!!! This is the worst store ever to do business with. They should be shut down!
POOR SERVICE, HAD TO PAY UP FRONT FOR FURNITURE THEY SAID THEY HAD. AFTER WE PAID, THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE SOFA THEY SAID THEY HAD IN STOCK AND IT WOULD TAKE 4-6 WKS TO GET IN. THE OTTOMAN THEY WERE GOING TO ORDER FOR US WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY MORE MONEY FOR SOMETHING ELSE BECAUSE WE HAD ALREADY DISPOSED OF OUR OTHER SOFAS AND HAD NO FURNITURE. SAID WE WERE 3RD ON DELIVERY, WAITED ALL DAY FOR DELIVERY. WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
i purchased my sofa and recliner the price was lower than the any where else. the staff was very friendly and helpful

I have had alot of used furniture that has lasted me longer than what I bought from Browns. When I called them about the problems that I was having they were very rude.I still dont have the funiture fixed after 5 months.I have only had it for 10. Something is wrong with that. We paid cash with no payments, dose that have something to do with it , we dont owe them anything so is that why they are not concerned?? BE AFRIAD!!!!!!!!!!
Dealing with these jokers has been by far the worst purchasing experience of my life. Nearly 3 months after I purchased $4400 worth of furniture, I still do not have a replacement sofa for the defective one that they initially delivered to my home. After countless phone calls (that they NEVER returned) an several trips to the store to meet with the manager, I still have the defective sofa in my living room. But at least now I understand why they treat customers soo poorly. Store management happily treats its own employees rudely in front of customers. I highly advise anyone considering purchasing anything with Brown's Furniture Showplace to think twice about it, and then don't do it.
