Flooring Express is a retail floor covering store serving the Greater Lafayette and surrounding areas. Formerly known as “Home Works” and located in the Market Square Shopping Center we moved to our current location near the Tippecanoe Mall in 2011 in order to expand our focus on floor covering products and installation services. We are a division of Henry Poor Lumber Co. which has been locally owned and operated in the Lafayette area since 1918. At Flooring Express we pride ourselves in offering the low prices of the big box stores in combination with the high quality expertise and service you find at the “mom-and-pop” shops.

I took my mother in to buy carpet. She was in a bad car accident last year and has memory problems. She will ask the same question many times. Nicole went above and beyond helping my mother and asking her the same question many times. The gentlemen that can and installed the carpet were very patient with her and did a wonderful job!
