Lafayette School District is a group of schools in Lafayette, Calif. Its schools include Burton Valley Elementary, Happy Valley Elementary, Lafayette Elementary, Springhill Elementary and Stanley middle School. The association trains its students with academic emphasis on math, science, language arts and social studies. Lafayette School District provides education in visual arts, performing arts, music and physical education. The institution s goals include the implementation of Thinking Strategies in classrooms to improve critical thinking/ New York writing project, reading comprehension and writing for students in grades K-8.
