Lafayette High School is a coeducational institution that enrolls students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies, art, music, and marketing, business, health and physical education. The school provides special education programs for students with special needs. Lafayette High School also organizes a variety of athletic activities, including basketball, baseball, football, cheerleading, and track and field. Additionally, it has an art club and parent-teacher organization, as well as supports the National Honor Society and student government association. The school promotes students participation in community service projects. Its library houses more than 6,000 books, magazines, newspapers and periodicals, as well as provides links to online search resources. Located in La Fayette, Ala., Lafayette High School is a part of the Chambers County School System.
