Before there was The SoftSide, before Hunt Innovations LLC sparked onto the scene, there was a dream. Derwin Hunt visualized a valuable, new product in a world where any bathtub owner could feel safer; an invention that could transform an entire bathroom's aesthetic. For the parent leaning over, as their little one is laughing, wiggling mid-splash; for the beloved grandparent leaning on a shoulder, taking precious moments to freshen up in a rehabilitation center; and for the adventurous traveler on the move, relishing a quick dip in a sudsy hotel bathtub; Derwin dreamed of preserving that sanctuary experience of a spectacular wash â?? without the dreaded split-second terror of "be careful" when standing up.
