My visit wasn't horrible. The nurses seemed to care. It was the customer service reps they have handling the front office and answering phones. I called to get the name of the GI specialist I was seen by because I didn't have the paperwork in front of me. Only to be greeting by a rude guy named Jose. I told him I couldn't remember the name of the doctor if he could look it up for me and give me his number so I could schedule a follow up appointment. After a few times of back and forth me telling him I don't remember his response to me was "You stayed here a couple of days and don't remember the name of your doctor you were seeing?!" He then said "How can you not remember?!" I didn't have the paperwork in front of me! When I finally hung up he called me back stating "this is the doctor you saw you can call him" I told him no that wasn't his name. I would remember if I heard it since the name was unique. His response was " No, I'm sure this was him and you can call him" I mean really?!? I was admitted for an allergic reaction not idiocy!!! Just rude I wont go there again. I can find another specialist.

Horrible rude ER doctors and nurses. I went to ER complaining of bad head ache that wouldnt go away and I waited 3 hours to be seen and when I finally was seen I was just told to take some over the counter pain relievers. I told them I dont complain fir minor pain so I went home that night only to return tje next morning due to my headache getting worse and the pressure in my head getting worse I had to wait a long time again in ER to get seen when I did see the dr she said it seems I was in er the day before I informed her I was and the pain is getting worse she wanted to send me and my wife home again till my wife told her I dont complain over anything she said it could be meningitis but she doubts it is and just thought I was lying or just complaining over nothing so she ran the test after me and my wife insisted to go ahead with the test and sure enough she comes back and says it came back positive for viral meningitis she changed her crappy attitude but the whole experience was a nightmare. Stay away if possible from this hospital

This has got to be the worst hospital anywhere! I delivered my son here and it was aweful! Apparently they have decided not to suction babies lungs after they are born anymore. However, they dont inform you of this, they dont warn you of what problems that might cause and they dont even offer a bulb syringe and/or explain how to use one! The morning we were to be released, my son choked on that fluid and stopped breathing. Thankfully nurses were able to revive him but he had another "episode" an hour later in the NICU during a shift change when they dont permit parents to be in the room so I wasnt even there to comfort him after. He remained in the NICU for 3 days and it was horrible. There were only 3 other babies there and usually 2 nurses on staff. The nurses were rude and completely innatentive. They watched T.V. the entire time and acted put out if a monitor went off and they had to get up. they would take their time to pause the show and shuffle slowly over to the baby to check. They NEVER cuddled, held or showed any affection to them at all. The day we were discharged they finally had 2 nurses from Dell Childrens Hospital who came in to get some extra hours and those nurses were completely perfect. It just highlighted how bad the others had been.

Then last week my son (ate 1 yr) woke up with a temp of 104.2 and we took him to the ER. This experience made me vow never to visit this hospital again. Upon arrival I walked up to the counter and 2 nurses were there. Neither of them greeted me but finished their conversation instead. Then when my son was taken to an ER exam room, we were told they would run several tests to determine the problem and then the doctor left the room. Nurses came in by the pairs to take different fluids for test and they were all terrible. Not one of them acknowledged us or my son. Not one told us what they were there to do. They all just said to hold my baby still while they shoved this and that into his body. In the span of 20 minutes he had a catheter shoved into his ..... with no sensitivity, a tube shoved down his nose with such diregard that is made him throw up blood and an attempted blood draw from a woman who after shoving the needle arounf and around in his arm for 3 minutes couldnt find the vein. All the while, the other nurses were joking and laughing, making comments about hating to work on babies and just taking up space in the tiny room. We finally told the to stop. Because they could tell we were upset, they sent in Nurse Ed who proceeded to patronize us and make excuses about everything.

This hospital feels like it has been staffed by rejects! I cannot believe this place is still in operation. They have no bedside manner, no intelligence, no concern for patients and no business being open!
