General Info

I am a Licensed Social Worker / Family Therapist and founder of the Marriage and Family Counseling Center. I treat children, adults, couples and families, both individually and in groups. My counseling is designed to help my clients with a wide variety of personal, marital and family issues.I specialize in therapy using the family systems viewpoint. This treatment method is effective whether you come alone or with other family members.I received my Master Degree in Social Treatment of Families, Individuals and Groups from the University of Chicago and my B.A. in Social Work Psychology from Indiana University. In addition, I hold a two-year training certificate in Marital and Family Therapy from the Center for Family Studies at the Family Institute of Chicago, Northwestern Medical School, and am an Approved Supervisor and Certified Disaster Traumatologist with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
