Established in 1956, Maple Crest Elementary School enrolls more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in math, social studies, history, math, language arts and reading. It also organizes classes in art, music and physical education. Maple Crest Elementary School provides a range of extracurricular activities, such as music, dance, and arts and crafts. The school hosts guided reading sessions that assists students to build comprehension and fluency skills, as well as exposes to a variety of literature, including stories, poetry and informational text. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher association that conducts family-oriented activities and fundraising events. Maple Crest Elementary School is located in Kokomo, Ind.
