We were on our way to Yosemite National Park from Hayward, CA., I saw a small sign for the "covered ridge" out of the corner of my eye. We took a little short trip and were so happy we did. We met a fireman who directed us right to the bridge. While there we saw a Mother Doe and her two babies. I had no idea it was a famous site, I just love to stop at the unusual. If you are in the area definitely stop by as the covered bridges of America are disappearing quickly.
