This is the highest level of recognition that a practice can acquire. “The patient-centered medical home is a way of organizing primary care that emphasizes care coordination and communication to transform primary care into “what patients want it to be.” Medical homes can lead to higher quality and lower costs, and can improve patients’ and providers’ experience of care.”
- ImmunizationsWake Forest Pediatric Associates firmly believes in the importance of administering vaccines to prevent serious illnesses and even death. For your child’s health and safety, we want to make sure that he/she receives the recommended immunizations at the appropriate time. Please read our Vaccine Policy below.
- AutismWe firmly believe, based on all available literature, evidence and current studies, that vaccines do not cause autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)Our office is recognized nationally as an NCQA Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home with ADHD being one of our “Clinically Important Conditions”. Our providers at Wake Forest Pediatric Associates will discuss with you the types of treatments available for your child (i.e. behavior therapy, counseling, and/or medications). Please refer to the list at the bottom of this page of recommended psychiatrists and psychologists in the area that can perform the ADHD testing for your child. Our providers manage the medical treatment once the child has a confirmed diagnosis of ADHD.
