I don't quite understand the reviews this place has received so I can only imagine those who have rated this place high have the pallets of a dogs backside or are the equivalent to food tasting as those you see rejected on American Idol in terms of talent (tone def).



The experience started bad because the salsa that came out with the chips looked and tasted like water with food coloring and some spices thrown together! I have seen far better attempts at making cheap salsa in bulk, but this one striked me as odd because it felt as if I were dipping my chip in water. Now I have to talk about those chips! Those were the stalest chips I have ever eaten in 23 years. It almost seemed as if the chips were left overs from the night before!



Now on to the main course. I ordered Scallop Enchiladas and this is where the experience headed towards the border (no pun intended). The Enchiladas were covered in this foul smelling thick cream sauce that overpowered the Enchilada completely. After using a spoon to clear off the sauce I resort to my napkin for assistance but the sauce was so thick the napkin was breaking off on the enchilada. So, with the milky ooze out of the way I finally got to taste the enchilada and scallops. The scallops were undercooked and the enchilada "shell" was pasty and outright disgusting. I got through the first one and then settle on tasting the lettuce. Well, the lettuce completely sucked because not only was it stale, the sour cream on it tasted like it expired last month! There is nothing worse than soggy old and wilted lettuce...so on to the rice. Typically Mexican rice is flavorful and exciting to eat. However, I am positive that Uncle Ben's Minute White Rice would have more taste uncooked than this rice did. I don't know how you can screw up the taste in Mexican rice, but they sure did it here.



Ok so I have a horrible food experience and I am hoping the service may help...NOPE. People who came in after me got served first and their check first. Finally after 20 minutes of sitting there with my credit card out and the food in the middle of the table I get the check and off I proceed to the counter.



I ask what appears to be the manager if he has ever eaten here before. This is where it gets interesting, he speaks no English and understands about the same. He kept pointing to my card over and over again and I said no, no, no. He then asks me how everything was and I said "Not very good". So, after he ignores this I ask him in slow English (like the kind you use when talking to a 3 year old) how he likes the food here...he stares at me and I said "The food SUCKS" and he just smiles and nods his head and says "oh yes, food sucks" all while smiling.



El Senor, your food, service and atmosphere sucks. Go get better trained English speaking staff. Tell your idiot "Chef" to go back to culinary school and obtain some real talent. If he can't make it cooking I have a yard that needs to be tended to.

Food is flippin' AWESOME!!! Reuben is the best server. Their food is fast and great every time. My family has eaten here probably (no lie) 25 times to date. NEVER had a bad meal there. LOVE IT!!

If you want great Mexican food, you need to visit them.
